Karen Rowlett will present an informative program on the
historical records housed in the Bedford Circuit Court
Clerk’s Office at the Bedford County Courthouse. With 27
years of experience serving as Archivist and Deputy Clerk,
Karen brings extensive knowledge of the office’s rich
collection of court and archival records.

During her presentation, she will highlight the types of
records available through the Bedford Circuit Court Clerk’s
Office and explain how these documents can be valuable
resources for individuals researching their family history.
Attendees will learn how court records, deeds, wills, marriage
records, and other historical documents can provide
important clues for genealogical research and help uncover the stories of their ancestors.
